Gabriel Burgos

12th Grade, Oaks Christian School

“As an artist, I work creatively to develop work that resonates with not only myself but those who see my work.

The piece that I created is an interpretation of how the Coronavirus has impacted my life as a graduating high school senior.

Through stylized shapes and distinct color my work displays the opposition of a high school certainty and my now reality and onto a new beginning. It also displays hope. Hope for an end to a worldwide heartbreak.”
